Cam Hay
Kia Ora, I’m Cam. I’m an Artist specialising in photography, and the Founder of indie print publication Hello Zukeen.
I have a diverse range of skills and talents that filter through my love for photography, and the execution of a good shot. My ideation and creative process consists of many moving parts and I envision my photography practice as an extension of my personality.
With 6+ years of experience as a Freelance Photographer, I have worked with numerous clients across the board in Aotearoa, and internationally. Dipping my toes in multiple styles of work has built a growing portfolio of portrait, product, studio, branding, food, lifestyle and event photography.
With a varied range of subject matter, my passion and specialty lies in Music photography, which has been a large part of my creative career growth. I've been busy to date and have worked at 137 events and gigs at over 88 venues in 13 countries with 84 different musicians, and counting.
What I point my lens at varies, and I like to think my eyes act as a frame, and an extension of the finished product.
I’m a big believer in crafting good, mutually beneficial relationships to ensure I capture the essence of whatever is at the end of my lens.
Comfortability is key for me, and I love to make sure people feel as seen as they can be — I take pride in the fact that I love to listen to everyone’s passions, dreams and ideas to see how I can help innovate uniqueness and explore originality in all facets from concept to completion.
Creativity, and it’s expression through my personality and craft is something that is constantly evolving — I’d love to be part of your journey, as much as I’d love for you to be a part of mine.
Let’s get chatting, and snapping.
